How does DMS Greeny Work?
From a user perspective, DMS Greeny consist of two parts, namely DMS system and user applications. DMS system is placed in Cloud. That is the part of DMS Greeny that the user never gets to touch.
User works just with user applications.
These ensure the access and working with documents located in DMS Greeny. We have already mentioned that DMS system is placed in Cloud. This means that it is not located in the employee´s computer nor at the company´s server but it is on the Cloud server of the provider.
DMS system
DMS system is a server part of DMS Greeny, which takes care of documents, user administration, communication with other systems and security.
User Applications
The user works with DMS Greeny via a web browser, DMS Digitizing and DMS Explorer.
The user can work with documents through the browser; he can follow the repository status, control access to documents in the repositories, and the like.
DMS digitizing enables users to digitize documents, that is, to transfer paper documents into DMS Greeny. Besides the documents, during the digitization, the user can extract the data from the documents, such as the name of the supplier, tax registration number, and the address. The data extraction enables further intelligent work with the document in DMS Greeny. For example, document search by supplier and the like.
The entire process is fully automated, so the user provides the following:
- Labels documents by barcode,
- Puts them into scanner,
- After the scanning, he sends them to DMS Greeny.
DMS Explorer is an application enabling editing of the documents in commonly used editors, such as MS Word, MS Excel, various graphic editors and the like. In addition to the editing of documents, this application allows you to view documents in DMS Greeny, and also search for document or adding the new ones or their deletion.
